Architectural Engineering brings together Architecture & Technology in a societal context. Architectural Engineering encourages students to explore their role as architects in facing today’s challenges from an systemic point of view. Sustainability challenges, such as circularity, building culture, biodiversity, and climate adaptivity play a big roll in the studio’s search for renewal in architecture.

Three main research by design domains ‘Stock’, ‘Make’ and ‘Flow’ are central in the studio. Each domain requires a different approach and offers unique design solutions, while creating multiple value for the built environment together.
