Systems Engineering Company Project

The Systems Engineering (Physics Design) company project is specially designed for TU Delft Master students 2nd year at Applied Sciences and other engineering Faculty.

Systems Engineering is a must-have skill for every applied science and engineering student. Systems Engineering is an interdisciplinary field of engineering and engineering management that focuses on how to design, build and manage complex systems over their life cycles. The brain behind every complex system is the Systems Engineering: and that can be you!

Here you will develop creative and innovative thinking, gain experience while working with an industrial partner, collaborate in teams and develop professional skills.

The project includes working in an industrial project defined by a company. It is similar to an R&D internship with an advantage of working in a motivating team and with well defined project. You will be supervised by an academic coach (with systems engineering and focused on developing professional skills) and by an industrial partner (direct supervisor and guidance project).

The programme focusses on applying SE tools to solve an industrial challenge. Next, we focus on finding your role in a multi-disciplinary team, entrepreneurship skills, presentation and writing skills, cultural intelligence, self- and team-reflection.
