Beschrijving
Finite differences, finite volumes in R^2, error analysis, discrete and continuous maximum principles, processing of boundary conditions, time integration.
Toetsing
Project (20%) + oral exam (80%) (oral exam = 1 hour written exercises + 0.5 hour oral discussion of written exercises and project)
Students need to have a grade above 5.5 on each component (Project and Oral Exam) to pass the course.
In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 2 Examination Requirements, Clause 4, of the Implementation Regulations 2023-2024.
