Modelleren 2A

Students have to solve a practical problem requiring probability theory and/or statistics. Each group will work on the assignment handed out at the beginning of the course. Supervision consists of weekly meetings with the group's supervisor. The course will involve simulations with the program R or Python.

1) A written report has to be handed in by each group. Furthermore, each group makes a short movie (max 5 min) in which they present their research.

2) In addition, students may be required to do an oral examination if differences in the quality of work within a group are observed by the instructor or indicated by group members.

The combination of 1) and 2) determines the final grade. The resit consists of a repair option.
