Political Economy of Geo-resources

This module aims to enable students to realize that georesources hold significant social, economic, and political importance, which often make georesource access and exploitation a highly contested issue. Economic and political theories are applied in the module to understand the nature of these contests vis-a-vis their implications for economic development in a globally interdependent world.
