Bio-inspired Intelligence and learning for Aerospace Applications

This course will cover the following subjects:

- Introduction Bio-inspired Intelligence

- Introduction to Reinforcement Learning

- Evolutionary robotics

- Introduction to Artificial Neural Networks

- Reinforcement Learning for Aerospace Control

- Insect intelligence and Swarming

- Spiking neural networks

The assessment of this course will be through an individual take-home assignment. For this assignment, the student selects one of the bio-inspired algorithms that is treated during the course and implements this to a system of their choice.

Deliverables are a scientific report and the code that is used to generate the results in the report.
