Educational research project for incoming exchange students enrolled at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering.

This course is for BSc (undergraduate) exchange students from partner universities of the TU Delft Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. The student is responsible for finding a supervisor from the TU Delft Faculty of Aerospace Engineering and an educational project or research topic to work on. Please note that the Space Engineering department is excluded. There are no supervisors available at this department for exchange students. The supervisor must confirm to the Exchange Office of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering by email that they have agreed to supervise the exchange student. Preferably the supervisor is found before the exchange application deadline has passed. If this process is not completed by the application deadline, the student must also include a full course load (24-30 ECTS) in their application, which they can fall back on in case they are unable to find a supervisor at all.

Toetsing

The course has a variable amount of credits (ECTS) depending on the requirements from the home university of the student. The amount of hours (1 ECTS = 28 hours) the student will be working for and the method of assessment conclusion - so with a defence or another type of assessment at TU Delft - must be agreed with the TU Delft supervisor beforehand. The number of credits can span from 1-30 ECTS. The educational research project needs to be concluded before the end of the enrollment at TU Delft.

After the project is concluded and assessed, the TU Delft supervisor needs to send information to the Exchange Office about the results, etc. as is shown below. The email with information can be sent to exchange-ae@tudelft.nl. The Exchange Office will process the result under the course 'AE3997 Educational Research Project' which will then be printed on the transcript of the student.
